Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legal agreement between you ("User" or "you") and DSI Work Solutions, Inc. ("DSI Work Solutions," "we," or "us"). Your use of the Saffie software ("Saffie" or the "Service"), accessible at https://saffie.app, is subject to these Terms. By accessing or using Saffie, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations.
Saffie is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform designed to standardize job function descriptions, with a focus on physical demands assessment, to assist employers and providers in creating job descriptions, facilitating return-to-work programs, ensuring ADA compliance, and more.
1. License to Use Our Services
Subject to these Terms, DSI Work Solutions grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use Saffie for your internal business purposes. This license is conditioned upon your compliance with these Terms and the payment of any applicable subscription fees. The scope of your access depends on your subscription plan and assigned user role.
2. Intellectual Property Rights
Our Rights
DSI Work Solutions owns and retains all rights, title, and interest in and to:
- Brand Elements: The "Saffie" name, logo, and all related branding materials, including the "Job Function Matching" trademark.
- Platform Elements: The Saffie software, including its architecture, algorithms, user interface, documentation, and all features such as the trash can functionality and dynamic specific requirements generation.
- Website Content: All text, graphics, and media on https://saffie.app, including marketing materials and guides.
These elements are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Your Rights
You retain all rights to the job function descriptions, job demands, and other content you create or upload to Saffie ("User Content"). By using Saffie, you grant DSI Work Solutions a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing, maintaining, and improving the Service.
Usage Rights
You may freely use, modify, and distribute your User Content outside of Saffie for any purpose, including hiring, workplace assessments, and compliance documentation, without any obligation to DSI Work Solutions beyond these Terms.
3. Data Usage and Privacy
We collect and process data from your use of Saffie to provide, maintain, and improve the Service. This includes usage patterns, job function data, and user interactions. Such data may be used to:
- Enhance the platform"s functionality and accuracy.
- Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues.
- Develop new features based on user behavior.

4. User Accounts and Content
Account Creation and Management
- You may create an account using email/password or Google OAuth authentication.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activities under your account.
- Account deletion requests can be submitted to help@saffie.app.
- We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
User Content
You may upload content such as job function demands, descriptions, and related data. You represent and warrant that:
- You have all necessary rights to upload and use such content.
- Your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.
Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, quality, legality, and compliance of your User Content, including job function descriptions used for hiring, ADA compliance, or other purposes. DSI Work Solutions does not endorse or assume responsibility for User Content. You must work within your own professional capacity, and DSI Work Solutions is not liable for any decisions, actions, or outcomes resulting from your use of User Content.
5. Services and Pricing
Saffie offers various user roles (e.g., Employer Admin, Provider Admin, Employer User, Provider User, System Admin) and subscription tiers (e.g., Free Trial, Pro, Enterprise), each with specific features, permissions, and resource limits. Details are available at https://saffie.app/pricing. We reserve the right to modify services, pricing, and resource limits at any time.
Support Services
Support is available to Pro and Enterprise subscribers via help@saffie.app, limited to platform-related issues and subject to our availability.
6. Subscription and Payment Terms
Billing: Saffie operates on a subscription basis with recurring billing (e.g., monthly or custom cycles for Enterprise plans). Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled.
Payment: You agree to pay all applicable fees. Non-payment may result in suspension or termination of access.
7. Fulfillment and Service Policies
Service Delivery
Access is granted upon successful account creation and payment processing. Contact help@saffie.app if you encounter access issues.
Refund Policy
Payments are non-refundable except in cases of billing errors or at our sole discretion. Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method.
Cancellation Policy
How to Cancel: Cancel via your account settings under subscription management.
Terms: Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions.
8. DMCA Compliance
We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). To report copyright infringement, contact help@saffie.app with:
- Identification of the copyrighted work.
- Description of the infringing material.
- Your contact information.
- A good-faith statement of infringement and accuracy under penalty of perjury.
9. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble Saffie.
- Use automated tools or bots without permission.
- Access unauthorized areas or data.
- Use Saffie for illegal purposes.
- Upload malicious code or content.
- Create multiple accounts to bypass limits.
- Overwhelm or disrupt our systems.
Saffie must not be used in regions or by individuals subject to U.S. sanctions or export restrictions.
10. Training and Certification
We strongly encourage users to train in the Job Function Matching System and pursue certification from DSI Work Solutions. Certification enhances your ability to use Saffie effectively and ensures compliance with industry standards. For details, contact us at help@saffie.app.
11. User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legal compliance of your User Content, including job function descriptions used for hiring, ADA compliance, or other purposes. DSI Work Solutions does not guarantee the suitability or legality of User Content and disclaims liability for any consequences arising from its use. You must operate within your professional expertise, and DSI Work Solutions is not responsible for your professional decisions or actions.
12. Data Retention
Deleted items (e.g., jobsites, jobs, job function descriptions) are moved to a trash can and retained for one year, after which they may be permanently deleted. You are responsible for maintaining necessary backups.
13. User Roles and Permissions
Access to Saffie features is governed by your user role and permissions (e.g., Employer Admin, Provider User). You agree to use Saffie only within your assigned scope and not attempt unauthorized access.
14. Third-Party Integrations
Saffie may integrate with third-party services or allow data export. You are responsible for complying with the terms of any third-party services used with Saffie.
15. Internet Connection
You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining the equipment and internet access required to use Saffie.
16. Compliance with Laws
You must use Saffie in compliance with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations, including those related to employment and workplace safety. DSI Work Solutions is not responsible for ensuring your compliance.
17. Changes to the Service
DSI Work Solutions may modify, suspend, or discontinue Saffie or its features at any time without notice. We are not liable for any resulting impact.
18. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Saffie at our discretion, with or without cause or notice. Upon termination, your access ceases, and associated data may be deleted.
19. Disclaimer of Warranties
Saffie is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that Saffie will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or meet your specific requirements.
20. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DSI Work Solutions, its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use Saffie; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on Saffie; (c) any content obtained from Saffie; or (d) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
21. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DSI Work Solutions, its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including, without limitation, reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising out of or in any way connected with (a) your access to or use of Saffie or User Content; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any intellectual property right, publicity, confidentiality, property, or privacy right.
22. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
23. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of Saffie shall be resolved through binding arbitration conducted by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall take place in North Carolina, USA. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
24. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on saffie.app and/or via email. Your continued use of Saffie after such notification constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
25. Miscellaneous
Entire Agreement: These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and DSI Work Solutions.
Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Waiver: Failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver.
